Every year RMDS presents five awards to members for outstanding performances ad contributions to the society.
This rose bowl is awarded every year in memory of Tessa Casilis de Pury who was for many years the leader and inspiration of the RMDS costume makers. It is awarded to a member of the RMDS who is judged to have made an outstanding contribution to the life of the society during the previous year.
This cup is awarded every year in memory of Ronald (Bunny) and Dorice Hare who were for many years devoted members and supporters of the RMDS. The cup is awarded in recognition of an outstanding performance in an RMDS production.
This is an award sponsored by Tom and Liz Glasson. The cup will be awarded every year to the young RMDS member who is deemed to have excelled in some way in one of the year's RMDS productions. This may be awarded for a performance, backstage prowess, major enthusiasm or noticeable effort and improvement. The decison will be made by Tom & Liz from nominations submitted by RMDS members.
Otherwise known as the 'It'll be Alright on the Night' award, this cup is awarded every year by the RMDS Greenroom committee from nominations made by cast and crew members from the Easter Musical. The cup is awarded in recognition of an outstanding cock-up during the run of the show either on stage or off.
'The Skip' is awarded every year, to someone who has been dilligent in their music studies and supportive of all the activities in that department.
