REMEMBERING the old adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", RMDS has kept more or less to the same tried and tested format for the Summer Show's entire 20 year existence - yet, far from looking tired, it just gets better and better.
'Uptown', directed by Cindy and Dave Wischhusen, features songs from shows like Hello Dolly, 42nd Street and Guys and Dolls. It scores full marks for choreography and elegance yet is never afraid to laugh at itself at times.

REVIEW

The country bumpkins from 'Out of Town' (directors Jeannie and Alan Seymour) never stop laughing as they go about their outdoor pursuits - and their version of The Ugly Duckling has to be seen to be believed.
'Downtown' is the zaniest, most action-packed part of the evening, thanks to director Sheryle Daniels' innovayive approach.
The only one to attempt a complete story, it is a kind of West Side Story meets Blood Brothers, Grease and Me & My Girl.
And, Like every section, it is performed with justifiable pride by a talented and enthusiastic company who know the true meaning of the phrase, "That's entertainment".
